Thermal sheet manufactured by multilayer coextrusion, with a combination of LDPE and LLDPE and the addition of anti-thermal additives.
This product has been designed specifically for application in areas with very high radiation, which must be reduced to prevent excessively high temperatures inside the greenhouse. The anti-thermal additives are pigments that reflect the SHORTWAVE IR radiation, lowering the temperature inside the greenhouse.
This type of product also provides high levels of diffusion, which results in a more even distribution of light inside the greenhouse.
DURATERMIC ANTITHERMAL includes a special combination of stabilizers that protect against UV radiation; based on hindered amine light stabilizers (HALS), the film is highly resistant to degradation from both UV radiation and high temperatures that usually occur in areas where the plastic comes into contact with the metal parts of the structure.
- Mechanical properties: high tensile strength, impact resistance and tear strength, which gives it optimal performance against harsh weather conditions, such as rain, hail, wind, etc.
- Optical properties: reflects short-wave IR radiation, which considerably reduces the temperature (by 2 to 4º) inside the greenhouse during the warmest hours of the day.
- Highly resistant to solar and thermal degradation.
Recommended for use in cold areas or areas with large differences between daytime and nighttime temperatures.
